Gold Curtains with Hamsa on dark red
Indian cotton curtains handmade from the gold tapestry Hamsa maroon.
The golden curtains are opaque, but translucent. A curtain in black provides darkening in the room, but the thin fabric lets sunlight through.
On the upper edge, each curtain scarf has sewn loops for hanging on any standard curtain rod.

approx. 200 cm long + approx. 10 cm loops.

Both parts of the curtain have sewn loops. This allows the curtain to hang on any curtain rod without the need for additional curtain rings.

What is the significance of Hamsa?
Hamsa is an ancient cultural symbol. It is said to bring good luck and give strength. In addition, the hand with the central eye protects from the evil eye and from Djinnie.
The hand of Fatima, also Hamsa (Arab. “five”) shows 5 fingers, the thumb and the little finger are shown the same size and point outward.
The hand is surrounded by an oriental pattern of flowers and ornaments.
