What is the Medicine Buddha?
Tibetan Buddhists consider the Medicine Buddha to be the most powerful blessing for healing, banishing disease, and awakening the innate healing wisdom that resides within every human being. The Medicine Buddha is an extremely powerful form of enlightened energy.
“His radiant body is azure. His left hand is in meditation mudra, holding a begging bowl full of the nectar of life in his lap. Signifying that he is giving a protection from illness, his right hand is extended in the gesture of giving, holding the “great medicine,” the myrobalan plant (a-ru-ra).”
Medicine Buddha practices are effective in healing and helping to successfully achieve goals. It may be beneficial for a sick person to bring him appropriate prayer flags to help him overcome his illness. The Medicine Buddha is helpful for success in any activity and indispensable for business people of any kind.
